About Us

Millards has been an established insurance broker in Sandwich for more than 50 years, so some of our more mature customers tell us, the main focus of the business has been serving its local community and that remains the same today. David Brown purchased the company in 2003 and set about modernising the business by installing the latest technology and by introducing a wider range of insurers and insurance policies available for its customers.

Thanks to the support the business has received from the people of Sandwich the company has grown and David and his team would like to thank them for their support.

The success of the company in recent years has meant expansion for the company and a second office was opened in March 2010 in the neighbouring town of Deal, a brave decision in the present climate but with Phil Day in charge, it is already proving to be a success.

Introducing the Team.

David Company Director took over the company in 2003 and runs the Sandwich office, customer service is at the heart of David’s business philosophy. When not working enjoys his football and the occasional game of golf.

Phil manages the Deal office and has been with the company since 2009 with a number of years broking elsewhere before joining Millards he also has a background in the motor trade industry as a result he has become the go to man for motor trade insurance.

 

 

Michelle has been with the company for 5 years and is responsible for keeping us on our toes and up to date. With two young girls to look after she has a busy home life.

Julie joined the company soon after David took over the business and is responsible for many aspects of the business including reviewing existing business each year and the accounts. Her spare time is spent running her son to football and cricket matches.

 

 

 

Monique

Monique joined the company in 2010 as the company continued to expand as support across both offices and many areas of the business. Monique too has a young family keeping her busy at home.

 Jared is the ofice new boy having recently left school after A levels he is now embarking on his new career and his new studies in insurance. He has an interest in cars and motorcross racing at the weekends.
